First I'd like you to try a few rhyming games I've made for you. You can spend about 5 minutes on these: Rhyming game #1 Short/Long vowel game
Then please put your "Homework" poems in my dropbox or email them to me at rebecca.mohr@bcis.cn.
When you've finished you'll work with form poems. A form poem is a poem structure where you fill in certain parts with your own words. Use the worksheets below to try two different form poems. There is a sample poem at the bottom of each document.
Which one do you think is easier? Is it easier to write a form poem or a poem all your own?
If you finish early, you can study for your vocabulary quiz on Monday OR try more form poems here.
